A. Vivaldi The Four Seasons

In a beautifully decorated Baroque Library Hall, mostly chamber concerts are held

The church of St. Michael the Archangel was founded in 12th century in Prague Old Town. It used to be an important medieval spiritual center, in Hussites times (15th century) major preachers taught here. In the 17th century, the church was donated to the Servite Order who built up the adjacent monastery.

After Emperor Joseph´s reforms at the end of the 18th century the monastery was shut down.

Today the former monastery hall is full of music as in the preserved Baroque Library Hall chamber concerts of classical music are organized. The Baroque Library Hall is not accessible to general public except for the concerts.
